I attended the Republican debate Wednesday in St. Petersburg. You couldn't swing a dead cat anywhere in the downtown area without hitting a Ron Paul supporter or one of the campaign's "Hope For America" signs. There were Ron Paul boats, cars, planes and trolleys everywhere. The Republican party's straw poll and barbeque looked like a Ron Paul Rally. Inside the debate most dyed in the wool Republicans still can't see the forest through the trees when it comes to Iraq but the world isn't waiting for their epiphany. Deep down the silent majority understands victory will be had in peace, strength and freedom. Not by sacrificing liberty, national bankruptcy and endless war.
